I agree, although there is also the side of sometimes even with the best efforts of someone trying to prioritize you they only have so much time in a day. The time they make for you might still not be enough to meet your needs which can be hard for both people. This should be taken into consideration when getting into it with someone. Basically if you are someone who needs to have their partner around more than a few times a week maybe don’t date a surgeon on call (or an asshole like me who works in TV and plays in bands).
